About Me
My Story
Hi, I’m Mina "Remous" Ashraf Sadek, a 26-year-old game developer from Giza, Egypt. Gaming has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. But as much as I loved playing, I often found myself frustrated—constantly thinking about how games could be better but having no way to bring my ideas to life.

For years, I dismissed those thoughts as fleeting, never considering game development as a real path. When it came time to choose a career, I went with mechanical engineering—ironically influenced by Jetpack Joyride and the Iron Man movies.
It wasn’t until my final year of college, when I had some free time, that I stumbled upon Unreal Engine. From the moment I started using it, I was hooked. I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Still, I wanted to be sure my passion was real, so I focused on finishing my exams, promising myself that if the excitement was still there after graduation, I’d chase it fully.

And it was. Even during my mandatory military service—where technology wasn’t allowed—I found ways to keep learning, studying C++ and reading everything I could about game development. The moment my service ended, I dove headfirst into freelancing, and I’ve never looked back. Tight deadlines, late nights, and constant challenges—none of it has made me regret this journey. If anything, I’m more excited than ever for what’s ahead.
